You will have experience in countryside management and public rights of way maintenance. The ability to work on your own initiative, to meet targets and produce high quality work is essential. You will be required to carry out a range of practical countryside tasks on your own and be able to provide information and guidance to the public relating to the use of public rights of way and open access land. In addition will have experience of working on upland engineered paths. The post will focus on planning and carrying out upland path projects, maintenance and survey work, and leading groups of volunteers in practical tasks. A qualification in countryside management is desirable. A full driving licence is required and you should be IT literate.
