Threatened Species Programme (TSP) Information Officer (Two-year Contract) (Salary Level 8)Pretoria National Botanical GardenClosing Date: 7 July 2008 at 16:00 SANBI requires an enthusiastic, dedicated and self-motivated professional to take up the position of Threatened Species Programme (TSP) Information Officer at the Pretoria National Botanical Garden.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant diplorpa or degree, coupled with at least three years' experience in a media-related field, e.g. journalism, public relations or publication production.
The appointee will be responsible for: • co-ordination and layout of newsletters, websites and plant identification guides of the TSP and Custodians of Rare & Endangered Wildflowers (CREW) • promoting the activities of TSP and CREW • providing front-line support to TSP and CREW customers • creating and managing the reference library of the TSP.
SANBI offers an all-inclusive salary of R199 910,40 per annum.
