Thermal Power Engineer, India / Pan-Asia

My client, a global leader in the strategy, design and execution of renewable energy projects is looking to add to their award winning Thermal Power business. Due to unprecedented levels of business generation, they are looking to add between 3 and 5  mechanical engineers to the Thermal Projects team, currently covering a range of high profile large scale Thermal power projects across India and South East Asia.

For these roles, the candidate is likely to come from a strong engineering background, with extensive experience in coal, gas or solar thermal power. You will be involved in each aspect of the project lifecycle, from pre-sales and advisory input through to project execution and delivery.  Candidate from a  consultancy background with specific Thermal project experience will also be suitable for this role.  It is essential that you have excellent client communication skills (to board level), and are able to add value to tenders, evaluations, advisory projects as well as physical project delivery.

Requirements:

• Msc in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong design experience preferably within the thermal power sector
• Solid project management / consultancy skills gained through management of utility scale projects
• Extensive knowledge of power plant processes and systems
• Design and Engineering skill in any Thermal Power Plant
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
