TITLE: CONSTITUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF SCIENTIFIC NETWORK PROTOMAC"
Headline Goal
Establish a scientific body to provide guidance projects
conservation of marine turtles and their habitats in Central Africa:
Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo Brazzaville, Republic
Congo and Sao Tome and Principe.
Missions
< span style = "font-size: small;"> In collaboration with the Bureau Director PROTOMAC, members of the Board
scientific missions will be main:
• Determine priorities in the region in consultation with the bodies
field.
• Provide scientific advice on important topics discussed at
PROTOMAC by the evaluation of proposals and technical reports
bodies of land .
• Formulate objectives and propose protocols working height
level, achievable in the regional context.
• Provide a range of methodological options to respond to a
objective, with assessment of advantages and disadvantages of each
method.
Conditions
PROTOMAC wants to have a Scientific Council recognized internationally. In
therefore PROTOMAC seeking candidates with skills
following:
• The candidate must have a good appreciation of the problem of
marine turtles and their habitat as a whole.
• The candidate must have an updated knowledge of the literature
scientific marine turtles, their habitat and their conservation
international level.
• The candidate must have good knowledge of the situation
problems of conservation of marine turtles and their habitat in the
sub-region of Central Africa.
• The candidate must have professional relationships with experts
international could be involved in the sub region as
advisors or staff to help students working in < / span>
PROTOMAC acquire these contacts.
• The Candidate must have good knowledge of French
and / or English. In addition to two, the knowledge of Spanish
and / or Portuguese would be an asset.
