Sealed Tenders are invited for disposal of old mattresses (145 Nos.) on “As is where is basis".

Terms & Conditions:

  1. The mattresses may be inspected by the bidders on any working days between Monday to Friday from 20th August  to 27th August 2010 between 3 to 5 p.m. at Wildlife Institute of India, Chandrabani, Dehradun. For this purpose they may contact the Administrative Officer of this Institute.

  2. Disposal shall be made for all mattresses on “As is where is basis”.  Bidders have to quote for all mattresses; failing which their offer will not be considered by the Institute.

  3. The mattresses shall be given to the agency who will quote highest price.

  4. The bidders are required to submit Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.2,000/- with their bid in shape of Demand Draft/Pay Order in favour of Director, Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun; failing which their bid will not be considered by the Institute.

  5. The successful bidder will be required to deposit full amount along with Sales Tax/VAT @ 13.5% within 5 working days and take delivery of the material from site, at his cost and risk; failing which their offer will be rejected and EMD will be forfeited.  The EMD of unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them.

  6. The sealed offers superscribing “Tender for disposal of old mattresses” with EMD of Rs.2,000=00 addressed to Administrative Officer, Wildlife Institute of India, Chandrabani, Dehradun may be sent by post or may be put in the Tender Box.   The last date of submission of the offers is 30th August 2010 upto 1500 hrs. The tenders received by the due date and time shall be opened in the presence of the bidders on 30th August, 2010 at 1530 hrs.  The tenders received late will not be considered by the Institute. 

  7. The Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any offer without assigning any reason.
