The purpose of this key role is to assist the Carbon Trust Innovation Team to generate business and carbon value from the development and commercialisation of new technology. We look for promising companies that we can help fill the gaps in their technology and business plan and move on to the next level. Your main responsibilities will be to identify and research information on relevant early-stage low carbon companies, using databases, data analysis and writing reports on your findings. You will also support wider Carbon Trust activities such as contributing to and generating business development ideas. The successful candidate will have an ability to quickly develop an understanding of the principles of low carbon technologies, and hold a good degree in science, engineering or business (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) from a leading university. Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills are essential and some experience of working in the low carbon sector would be beneficial. Closing date: 11 May 2012 |
