Technology and International Policy Intern

The internship provides a recent college graduate, current graduate student, or recent master’s program graduate the opportunity to gain experience in researching climate change-related technology and climate change policies at the international level. The intern will work directly with the Executive Vice President, the Vice President for Technology and Innovation, and program staff.

Responsibilities include:

Research technology that mitigates greenhouse gas emissions

Assist with the C2ES Climate TechBook, including:

• Bring existing factsheets up to date
• Author, review, and coordinate development of new TechBook factsheets
• Manage website for Climate TechBook, including search engine optimization

Research, tracking and reporting on national-level climate and energy policies in other countries, including:

• Bring existing policy information up to date
• Draft summaries and descriptions of climate and energy policies in key countries
• Support research and editing of C2ES reports and white papers?Willingness to pitch in at all levels

Qualifications:

College graduate, current graduate student, or recent master’s program graduate in environmental science, environmental or energy policy, or related field
Interdisciplinary understanding of the climate change issue (technology, politics, economics)

Top-notch writing, editing, research, and analytic skills

Attention to detail

Status: Full- or part-time internship
