Responsibilities
  • Designs and delivers field level technical and safety training programs according to Instructional System development model to educate internal / external audiences on the operation and preventative maintenance of Vestas products.
  • Presents field and classroom training sessions.
  • Builds and works with teams who provide field training at field offices.
  • Handles training administration details.
  • Markets training programs internally.
  • Take part in development of field program for new hires.
  • Evaluates class room training effectiveness and give constructive feedback.
  • Participate in curriculum life-cycle support.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in technical discipline, military technical training, journeyman electrician or other certified technical training or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of wind turbine experience.
  • Successfully completed relevant wind turbine courses.
  • Knowledge of the documentation for the wind turbine generators.
  • Capable of understanding and implement new work instructions.
  • Have shown interest and passion for adult training.
  • Must be able to work independently relying on experience to accomplish tasks.
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid U.S. Passport.
  • Up to 25% travel may be required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Direct and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Must be able to climb wind turbines and conduct training in confined spaces at height.
