Description

My client is focused on providing renewable solutions for the international community with a strong focus on the wind industry. They are a market leader and have expanded their market presence rapidly over the last few years. They are one of the most important and influential wind turbine manufacturers in the world.

Core Criteria:
You will be responsible for the sales of wind generators to the Asian market, working to maintain and develop relationships with customers. You will be expected to achieve targets in the region ensuring that you option sales agreements and ongoing customer satisfaction. You will report to the commercial and regional sales director in order to ensure that annual targets are achieved.

Responsibilities:-

  • You will have an excellent understanding of the technical elements of the wind industry and the legal requirements of the region.
  • You will have strong market connections in the wind industry and an understanding of the customer base that my client is looking to work with
  • You will be informed in the regarding my clients main competitor and conduct market analysis that leads to in depth knowledge of the major competitors.
  • You will represent my client in trade fairs
  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers in order to maintain ongoing relationships with the customer indicative of further sales for my client
  • You will work closely with the technical and sales team throughout  the region in order to ensure that agreements are clear and concise and that the customer has the appropriate information required to make a positive decision on a proposal
  • You will co ordinate with the construction, services and financial team in order to see the sale of the product through the entire process, from initial relationship to the end of the service contract.
  • You will be involved in the company development through monthly meetings.

Education:-

Must have strong engineering background and knowledge of the wind energy market

Core Requirements:-

  • You will have 4-6 years sales experience, with a proven track record in the wind industry
  • You will have at least 1-3 years technical experience in the wind industry with an excellent understanding of the engineering side of wind farm developments
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel frequently across Asia and also internationally as required
  • ·         You will be fluent in Malay or Mandarin and English
  • ·         You wil be a self starter with a proven track record working independently
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

Key Skills:-

Wind Industry, negotiations experience, business development and sales of wind generators or wind developments in Asia is a bonus and team leadership.
