Technical Project Manager (Solar PV), New Jersey, USA

My client is a leading solar photovoltaic (PV) installers, providing solar photovoltaic (PV) energy systems to their commercial and municipal customers.

Responsibilities:-

• Oversee the design, installation, and service of commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) energy systems
• Communicate with sales representatives regarding customers’ individual electricity needs
• Design customized solar system based upon customer specifications
• Draft electrical line diagrams
• Liaise with structural and electrical engineers to confirm design feasibility
• Complete and submit all permit applications and supporting documentation to local municipalities
• Coordinate installation crews
• Schedule inspections by local municipalities and internal quality inspections

• Carry out inspection and testing
• Oversee minor repairs/upgrades and full rewires
• Setting up of any additional equipment required

Requirements:-

• At least 2-5 years relevant work experience in the solar photovoltaic (PV)  industry with a proven track record within this area
• Strong educational background in Engineering (MSc preferred)
• Excellent problem solving skills

• Good understating of MS Project, MS Office, AutoCAD, Ansys, FORTRAN

• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and detecting realistic solutions
