Technical Officer

Position Purpose:

Implement ongoing field based wetland projects in India and South Asia region as well as project development.

Essential Selection Criteria:

·         M.Sc. in Life Science, Botany, Zoology, limnology, sociology, economics, ornithology or related fields

·         At least 3 years of experience of working on wetland conservation and in fund raising

·         Demonstrated ability to work effectively in and contribute towards a team

·         Motivated to work unsupervised and be flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the work as it rolls out

·         Proficiency in the use of computer programmes, MS Office, fluency in written and spoken English

·         Data management and analysis skills and a good working knowledge of databases.

·         Ability to maintain the confidentiality of documents and data where appropriate

·         Well developed interpersonal and excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.

·         Willingness to travel and work in the field
