As a member of the EU - ITER Department of 'Fusion for Energy', and reporting directly to the Team leader/Co-ordinator of the Analysis and Codes Group, the Technical Officer for Nuclear Analysis will work on the implementation and follow-up of nuclear analysis for the main ITER components such as transport of radiation, material nuclear responses, doses and related magnitudes.
The successful candidate will, among other tasks:
* Support the development of detailed technical specifications and quality control documents for the implementation of nuclear analysis;
* Follow-up the progress of nuclear analysis contracts by tracking activities against the plan
* Provide regular and accurate reports, analysis and evaluation of results;
* Support Research and Development (R&D) for the development of numerical models of the key ITER components and fusion relevant nuclear data, in collaboration with industry and laboratories.
