Our client is an environmental and engineering consultancy with offices across the UK. An exciting vacancy has recently arisen for a waste professional with a high level of technical expertise to join the team at the Reading office. This senior role will involve not just leading an established and successful team performance, but the development and growth of new products and services, as well as expanding customer relationships. This company has established long term contracts with a number of clients and it is anticipated that they will provide the team with a substantial workload. A Chartered Waste Manager, you will hold a BSc/BEng or another relevant qualification. A strong track record in business development and managing client relationships, as well as technical/project direction, and team leadership and staff management is required. You will have waste management experience in, ideally, both the Public and Private sectors. Strong influencing and communication skills are essential and you will need to develop a clear understanding of the range of services which our client promotes. You will also need to demonstrate a successful track record of winning and delivering similar projects to time and budget. |
