Our client is an environmental consultancy that provides independent advice to both the public and private sectors. A superb opportunity has recently arisen for a geotechnical professional to join the team. You will be responsible for the technical quality and development of the engineering services. As a key member of the company you will be expected to play a proactive role in company performance and management including development of new business opportunities for strategic growth and development of the company. In addition, you will be responsible for supervision and undertaking landfill site design including groundwater and leachate control infrastructure, landfill lining systems and for sloping stability analysis. Liaising with clients and regulatory authorities, you will also act as a representative of the H&S Committee for the Geotechnical Department. A BSc qualification in a relevant subject is required, along with 5-6 years experience in a similar role. Previous experience with Quality Management Systems would also be an advantage. A Chartered Engineer, you will have experience of project management, budgeting and financial control. Good administrative, organisational and Microsoft skills are essential, as well as a UK driving licence. This is an excellent opportunity to work for our well established and respected client. |
