Technical Director, Hydrogeological & Geological

This exciting vacancy has recently arisen with a comprehensive consultancy that provides a water management service to a wide range of clients. It is now looking for a Technical Director to hold responsibility for the technical quality, development, management and undertaking of the following services:
Hydrogeological site investigation and risk assessments
Assessment of contamination
Design of drainage schemes
Aquifer and surface water protection
Surface water and groundwater monitoring
Water resource assessment and development
Geological, engineering geological and geomorphological mapping
Flood risk assessments
You will have a strong involvement in the technical input to the Hydrogeology/Geology department as well as developing new business opportunities for the company. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of minerals, waste or contaminated land and specifically for landfill sites. To be considered for this role, you will have a BSc qualification, previous QMS experience and hold chartered Geology membership. Excellent line management ability, leadership and team building, good communication and team management skills are essential.
