Due to expanding workloads an opportunity has arisen within the company for a Technical Assistant to join our multi-functional team at our Warrington office. This role will be split between supporting the work of the Accounts and Operations Manager, and that of the consultants. The successful candidate will be working within a multi-disciplinary organisation and therefore will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and experience, both of a technical and administrative nature.
The role will include, but not necessarily be restricted to:
* Assisting in site survey work; * Preparation of data and plans for use in technical reports; * Liaising with consultants over lab supplies and requirements; * Assisting the Accounts Manager in the production of invoices; * General filing and updating appropriate records; * Placing orders for office consumerables.
Candidates should have a good first degree in a relevant subject, environmental science, geology, geography, etc. While full training will be provided throughout the job, experience of using AutoCad would be a distinct advantage.
