Location: Harapan Rainforest camp, Sumatra, Indonesia Closing Date: Friday 28th November 2014 (at midnight GMT)

RSPB works internationally to conserve the richness of nature for the well-being today of every one of us and as an inheritance for future generations.  It manages over 200 nature reserves, has more than 1 million members and has more than 25 years experience of working with partners in developing countries.  Harapan Rainforest is one of the most important conservation projects in the world. A consortium of Burung Indonesia, The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and Birdlife International established PT Restorasi Ekosistem Indonesia (REKI) in 2007 to manage the first ever ecosystem restoration concession  - Harapan Rainforest. Harapan Rainforest aims to: protect and restore the biodiversity, ecosystem services and productivity of 98,555 ha of lowland rainforest in Sumatra; sustainably manage the forest resources in harmony with nature and people’s needs; collaborate with diverse partners; and demonstrate innovative techniques in forest restoration.
