Technical Advisor - Air Quality and Noise

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Environment Agency team providing technical expertise and leadership on air dispersion and noise modelling. We provide regulatory advice to support permitting, compliance and major incidents, helping protect the local population and ecological sites from regulated industry. You will help us to deliver a cleaner, healthier environment to protect people and wildlife.

As a technical advisor you will provide technical expertise and leadership on air dispersion and/or noise modelling. You will review and interpret air and/or noise impact assessments; provide advice and training to colleagues across the organisation; and carry out complex modelling studies. You will work closely with other members of the team, providing technical coaching and helping to support their development. You will work with colleagues across the organisation to support policy and research in air quality and noise.
