We are seeking a Team Leader with experience in statutory or environmental planning and strong knowledge of Queensland legislation and approval processes. Demonstrated experience in providing planning and environmental assessment, the preparation of high quality technical reports and team management including strong interpersonal skills are key requirements for this role. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively liaise with a wide range of stakeholders (local government, regulatory, community) and develop business opportunities. Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Qualifications in Environmental Planning, Natural Resource Management or Environmental Science and 5 years’ experience in statutory or environmental planning.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and environmental assessments for construction and Rockhampton – Full Time engineering projects including the permitting and approval documentation and process.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland State and Australian Federal environmental legislation and approval processes including interpretation and implementation of legislative requirements for project approvals.
• High quality technical report preparation on planning and environmental matters.
• Demonstrated project delivery and the capacity to manage a range of projects simultaneously within scheduled timeframes and budgets and health, safety and quality requirements.
• High level client relationship management skills, commercial acumen and demonstrated ability to develop key stakeholder and customer relationships.
• Experienced and supportive people manager with strong leadership, performance management and mentoring skills.
