Team Lead for Technical Project Managers (87291)

Responsible to lead a team of UK based Technical Project Managers to provide support for UK based Offshore Projects. Participate in TPM candidate selection and training in Global TPM standards. Secure well functioning collaboration with the WInd Power Offshore Engineering organisation in Brande (Denmark) and gain suuport from Offshore Engineering to secure closing of contracts. Complement technical competences in Wind Power technology especially on electrical disciplines.

• Technical coordination with key clients/suppliers in UK
• Develop the Offshore Engineering function and organisation for the UK including sales support
• The organisation shall be able to support 2-3 projects with minor support from WP OF EN and WP EN
• The function shall provide support for:

-          Sales and contract negotiations for Offshore projects

-          Project planning phase

-          Project execution phase

• The organisation is expected after 3 years to consist of around 7 TPM´s
• The function shall be working closely between local Sales and PM organisations
• The function is responsible for training new Technical Project Managers
• Technical expertise on special projects

-          Sales projects if new scope, client, continent etc. - decision on whether to attend or not based on 1) and 3) and available time

-          Development projects to be decided together with Head of OF EN

• Overall technical sales strategy/concept for sales projects  (before Bid/no Bid)

-          Choice of WTG, tower type, overall logistic concept incl. program

-          Based on feasibility package, client and marked info from TPM/TSM group describing site conditions, park layout and project description
