Background:Norfolk County Council is committed to protecting and enhancing our environment. Our services include managing public rights of way, biodiversity, municipal waste management, tree management, conservation of historic buildings and the built environment, and landscape, heritage and environmental advice. Objective:This role will work closely with the Flood and Water Team, to undertake an assessment of the likely resources required by the Council to fulfil its role as a SuDs approving body (SAB). The post holder will provide support to the Flood and Water Team in identifying, developing and implementing processes and systems for the delivery of a SuDs Approving Body This role would involve working closely with members of the Norfolk Water Management Partnership, particularly the Borough, City and District Councils, and key internal stakeholders from Environment, Planning and Highways. Work on this project will allow the graduate to gain valuable, relevant experience if they are keen to work in the environmental and water management sectors in the future, or within Local Authorities.
