Description

Will provide executive/administrative support and assist on special and ongoing projects directed by the President/CEO and/or VP Sustainable Programs of The Conservation Fund.

Provides research, creates/manages databases and generally assists the President and/or Vice President in the development and implementation of major Sustainable projects. Work may include assistance with developing funding support for current and future initiatives as well as acting as the point of contact for various duties including scheduling and attending meetings. Will be involved in active network management and facilitating the flow of information within the specific project framework with other participants and to TCF managers and offices.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a college degree in a related field (e.g. humanities, administration, finance or sciences), excellent verbal and written communication skills and well developed social skills and manners. Familiarity with word processing, Web-based research and e-mail programs required. Database development skills and experience a plus. Must be an effective representative of the Fund to leaders, staff members and volunteers of partner organizations and agencies. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently without constant supervision and be a tactful team player with TCF managers and colleagues.

Some overtime and occasional travel out of town may be required; will need to travel to local meetings. A neat, presentable appearance consistent with a business office setting is required.
