The Energy Services Team forms part of the Energy Utilities and Building Services Group (EUBS) and provides expert consultancy support to both public and private sector clients across a number of sectors, including property, financial services, retail and manufacturing. Our highly experienced team carries out a broad range of work including developing policies and strategies, advising on the sustainable construction and operation of buildings, energy efficiency through design, renewables/low carbon/energy from waste technology assessment and project delivery, carbon management and utilities infrastructure design and implementation. We have a wide range of Government and blue chip clients both in the UK and overseas and are able to offer our employees excellent career prospects.
Energy Services within PBA delivers in four core areas including Energy Strategy, Renewable and Low Carbon Technologies, Energy Contracts and Carbon Management. We are looking for an exceptional individual to join the Energy Team.
Key responsibilities include: Develop energy strategies for land development projects by assessing the energy requirements of land development projects and modelling the alternative energy supply scenarios Recommend renewable or low carbon technologies to meet the client's expectations for the project Provide an assessment of the economic impacts of the recommended energy solution Prepare reports based on detailing analysis and recommendations Develop energy modelling tools and resources for use within the firm Assist in growing the capabilities of the Energy Services Team in broadening the energy services offered to a wider client base.
Applicants will have: Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and their applications Experience of building models for calculating energy loads of economic performance and economic performance of ebergy related projects Knowledge of the UK energy sector, Codes for Sustainable Jomes, BREAM and/or Micro Generation technologies would be advantageous Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline Experience of managing the delivery of components into a larger project Peter Brett Associates LLP provides significant opportunity for career progression, excellent training and development programmes as well as exposure to stimulating broad ranging project work.
