Job Description :
ThyssenKrupp Elevator is seeking an experienced Sustainable Efficiency Manager to join the Corporate Sustainability Department reporting to the Director of Sustainability. This role will be responsible for growing and supporting the demand for our sustainable products and services. The position will be located in either Frisco, TX or Memphis, TN and requires approximately 50% travel within North America.
Key responsibilities include: – Support and train sales force on sustainability technical concepts, features and product capabilities; and act as expert technical resource for engineering, sales and operations teams. – Capable of performing energy and traffic audits, interpret results and provide analysis and written executive summary of findings and recommendations – Act as a liaison for the client with Utility companies to provide custom rebate opportunities for energy reduction projects – Main point of contact for developing relevant building case studies on energy and efficiency improvements, generating content for marketing collateral. Act as a solutions expert consultant in helping potential and existing external clients with their unique critical business issues and strategic initiatives. Provide efficiency recommendations based on field needs to Product Alignment committees. – Act as technical liaison between post sales implementation groups, manufacturing and sales teams – Demonstrate technical knowledge by writing the specification or matching the proposal to the building specifications to provide value to the customer and favorably position ThyssenKrupp Elevator. – Develop relationships with internal operations and branch staff to ensure customer satisfaction, and effectively and efficiently address issues – Maintain a strong collaboration with all operating groups to deliver green programs within the bounds of each group’s growth and performance. – Partner with national sales force to maximize profit generation from accounts through influence on specifications and market pricing. Utilize sales tools to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity in accounts. – Network and develop leads by participation in trade industry organizations including International Facility Manager Association (IFMA), U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
Job Requirements :
A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in engineering or a related field. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible technical experience is necessary; experience in sales, a heavy equipment manufacturing or construction environment is preferred. Candidates with experience in energy efficiency, carbon reduction or building services are strongly preferred. The successful candidate will be confident and persuasive, with a demonstrated ability to quickly build rapport and engage with internal and external clients.
