This role will focus on managing the University’s Sustainability Team and will play a significant role in the University’s Sustainability Development objectives including the development of an accredited Environmental Management System, supporting carbon reduction initiatives and the promotion of sustainable transport and procurement.
With a degree in Environment, Engineering or a related discipline, you will also have: • A wide knowledge of environmental issues and sustainable development • Experience of developing and managing an Environmental Management System • Experience and promotion of travel plans and active travel initiatives The post requires working with University staff, students and outside organisations to manage existing programmes and also identify, promote and implement new initiatives. You should be self-motivated, enthusiastic with excellent communication skills and a willingness to be a pro-active leader of the Sustainability Team. University Grade 8 (£36,532 - £43,622 p.a.)
