Sustainable Development Fund Committee – Advisory Members

Would you like to help others to achieve a more sustainable way of life in our special and protected landscape? If so please consider bringing your experience and expertise to the Sustainable Development Fund (SDF) Committee.

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority (PCNPA) administers the SDF, which is a Welsh Government initiative to develop innovative sustainable projects that test new ways to live more sustainably and improve the quality of life in the National Park for current and future generations. This year £200,000 is available for projects.

Applications to the fund are assessed and decided upon by Authority Members who sit on the SDF Committee. The Committee also includes Advisory Members, all with relevant knowledge and skills and who make a valuable contribution to the decision making process.

If you are interested in serving as an Advisory Member representing the voluntary, community or business sector please submit a written expression of interest, detailing your credentials relevant to the position, by 25^thJune 2012.

Suitable representatives will have knowledge or interest in one or more of the following topic areas: renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, land management, communities, social equality, sustainable tourism, transport, buildings, education, youth work and business skills/development.
