To develop the Sustainable Development strategy and drive implementation for our Sector, for commercial, social and environmental benefit. You`ll be working in our Head Office in Palma de Mallorca and have the following responsabilities:
- Identify and prioritise key environmental and social sustainability issues for the Sector. - Identify opportunities for Sustainable Development to bring the Sector commercial benefits and stimulate product and operational innovation. - Keep up to date on the wider socio-economic, cultural, ethical and environmental issues affecting the Sector businesses, and advise the Sector Board and Sector businesses’ management teams on best practice. -Drive 2-way communication with colleagues, customers, communities and other key stakeholders regarding the commitment, strategy and performance of the Sector on Sustainable Development. -Represent the Sector on Sustainable Development issues, both within the Group and externally. - Act as conduit for Sustainable Development activity from and to the Group Sustainable Development department, feeding into development of Group strategy and maintaining Sector alignment with Group policy where appropriate. -Establish a communications network with champions in each Sector business through whom to channel Sector SD messages and news, and from whom to gather SD information such as KPI data and case studies, to feed into Group Sustainable Development reporting.

• Good understanding of the social and environmental issues facing the tourism industry • Good understanding of current trends in CSR and sustainable development • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills • Ability to manage own workload and work autonomously • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – must be able to work at all levels internally and externally
