Vacancy - Sustainable Development & Infrastructure Director

Up to £68,000 plus excellent benefits including performance related bonus, Nottingham based

This significant role will call on your experience, drive and vision as you lead the development and implementation of key policy responsibilities within emda that contribute to the sustainable economic growth and resilience of the East Midlands economy.

It will see you leading the formulation and delivery of policies to support the region’s spatial development and strategic infrastructure priorities where they contribute to economic growth, sustainable development, energy and climate change, and to support our work on economic and community renewal.

You’ll also contribute to the overall corporate direction and management of emda.

We’re looking for demonstrable experience in a senior level planning, or equivalent, role, with knowledge of current relevant legislation and best practice principles. You’ll have a background in leading and motivating teams, delivering outcomes to tight timescales and formulating strategy and policy. Budget and programme management experience is also important.
