Sustainability Services are specialized services dedicated to accelerate the transformation towards a low carbon, resource efficient and prosperous economy -  from understanding business risks and opportunities, managing  regulatory changes, delivering strategy, financing green investments, monitoring and disclosing performance and progress.  These services are designed for private or public organisations across industries and geographies.

 

The purpose of this role is to develop and grow the sustainability (both environmental and social) risk service offering for EMEIA.  We are looking for an advisor with a strong background in risk and a good understanding of new business opportunities in a sustainable development context.
The individual will work alongside the EMEIA CCaSS leadership team.


Responsibilities
-Develop strategic offers for industry leaders in relation to sustainability risk;
-Deliver valuable insights to clients on enterprise risk management, environmental management, health and safety management, human rights (labour standards, resource rights etc) , social risk (community, human resources, external affairs);
-Coordinate business development related to the above in the EMEIA region  for various clients/industry sectors together with the EY network of experts;
-Build alignment for strategies, drive change, and manage/monitor execution as appropriate;
-Implement Go-to-Market priorities  and achievement of EMEIA revenues targets

 

Experience required
-Previous experience with Consulting firms or Corporations;
-Experience serving as technical expert and advisors for industry leaders;
-Strong strategic and analytical capabilities as well as the capacity to foster new ways of thinking and develop new approaches that can be applied to a variety of client/industry challenges;
-Experience working with an international network of practitioners;
-Good level of awareness regarding  the concept of sustainable development;
-Demonstrated ability to facilitate/lead cross-functional project teams;
-Ability to interact with and influence senior executives;
-Experience working with an international network of practitioners;
-Fluency in English is required and proficiency in German and French desirable.
