Sustainability Officer

Are you passionate about sustainable development? Would you like the opportunity to work with public sector organisations to inspire ambition and excellence on issues like climate change? If so, Sustainable NI might just have the opportunity for you!

We are looking for a someone with strong knowledge of current sustainability and environmental issues, with exceptional organisational and administration skills, who is a self-starter, enthusiastic, flexible, positive and proactive in their approach to their work and who will enjoy working in a busy and challenging environment. This is a diverse and stimulating role which offers great variety from co-ordinating our sustainable development forum, liaising with local councils, government departments and other public sector organisations, conducting research, shaping policy, supporting event delivery and co-ordinating our communications.
