Responsibilities include auditing operating Job Corps Centers for sustainability in accordance with established government and other recognized standards, preparing reports and recommending sustainable upgrades, recommending funding transfers and other means to improve Job Corp’s sustainability, collecting and analyzing sustainability data such as energy and water usage, and verifying completion of sustainability projects. As such, the Sustainability Coordinator will plan and manage the execution of assigned projects with primary emphasis on meeting sustainability goals along with quality, schedule and budget objectives. The Sustainability Coordinator shall assist in the preparation of scopes of work, review designs as necessary to ensure compliance with governmental and other recognized standards. Standards of practice for the ESC will be reviewed and improved as needed. This position includes some travel as needed to generate and implement sustainability projects. |
