Our client is looking for a Sustainability Consultant to provide Sustainability and low carbon design advice and technical support, research and development, for this group of companies, and its clients.
The main duties and responsibilities are:
· Delivery of survey, review, opportunity identification, design advice and low carbon / sustainable solutions guidance for clients and their design teams, directly and through externally accredited programmes
· Policy, procedures, and strategy development
· Sustainability research and knowledge management
· Marketing and service development, including involvement in bid submissions preparation and client interviews

· Articulate, convincing, polished, an influential presenter to varied audiences (verbal, written, and graphical)
· Capable of solo or team working
· Equally at home in a Client’s boardroom presenting an action plan as on a building site or in a boiler house

Professional qualifications and experience
· Professional qualification and practical experience in building design and construction (architect, engineer, building surveyor, or building technologist)
· Possibly a higher degree or secondary qualification related to sustainability
· Technical expertise in sustainability and low carbon solutions
· IT Literate (Microsoft Office, CAD, and possibly a capability with energy or impact modelling / certification software)
· Experience of managing projects
· Experience of managing a small team
· Teaching and instructional skills
· Maintains knowledge through CPD
