About Forum for the Future

Forum for the Future is a non-profit organisation working globally with business and government to create a sustainable future. We aim to transform the critical systems that we all depend on, such as food, energy and finance, to make them fit for the challenges of the 21st century. We have nearly 20 years’ experience of inspiring new thinking, building creative partnerships, and developing practical innovations to change our world.

Who are we looking for?

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sustainability and who can work equally on their own initiative as well as part of a wider team. We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of the current UK energy system and experience of working to achieve a transition to a more sustainable energy system both in the UK and internationally.  An understanding of  non-UK energy systems, especially India, or the Asia Pacific region is desirable as is experience working on global level energy and climate transitions, for example in relation to UNFCC activities.

This position, will give the successful applicant a unique opportunity to work with a broad range of organisations with whom we collaborate whilst working at the cutting of edge of change in one of the leading organisations in the sustainability arena today. If that is something which excites you and you think you have what we are looking for, then we want to hear from you.

Does this sound like you?

This is a temporary contract for 9 months.  Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

Closing date: 9:00am, Friday 1 May 2015
