Sustainability Advisor, Energy and Food

Forum for the Future is a leading non-profit organisation working globally with business, civil society and government to create a sustainable future. We aim to transform the critical systems that we all depend on, such as food and energy, to make them fit for the challenges of the 21st century. We have 18 years’ experience inspiring new thinking, building impactful collaborations and developing practical innovations to change our world.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sustainability and who can work equally on their own initiative as well as part of a wider team. We are looking for someone with strong project management experience to support our partnerships and collaborative projects working across our energy and food system teams. Knowledge of one or more of the food and energy systems and the key issues we face in transitioning them to a sustainable economy are also desirable. An understanding of the key sustainability challenges (such as climate change, population growth and resource constraints) is essential.

This position, working across both of Forum’s key systems, will give the successful applicant a unique opportunity to work with a broad range of organisations with whom we collaborate whilst working at the cutting of edge of change in one of the leading organisations in the sustainability arena today.
