Sustainability Advisor (Sustainable West of England Programme)

Can you develop and deliver sustainability strategies and projects, with partners in a complex city-region environment, which have the vision and results to really influence the global urban sustainability agenda? 

Do you have a proven track record in successful project management delivery, income generation, and the day to day running of projects and partnerships on sustainability issues?

We are looking for an experienced project manager, with considerable knowledge of the sustainable development agenda, to join our small dynamic West of England Programme office in Bristol. 

You will be responsible for the management of at least two projects of up to £50k per annum, one of which will be the West of England Carbon Challenge. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of experience in sustainability, a successful track record of project delivery, and proven stakeholder engagement skills. 

Our West of England Programme aims to help ensure the Bristol city-region is the UK's leading example of urban sustainable living. This role contributes to the management and development of the Programme.

Closing date: 5.00 pm Thursday 3rd September 2009
Interviews: Thursday 10th September in Bristol.
