Supporter Marketing Co-ordinator

The Born Free Foundation, an International wildlife charity, is looking for an experienced Supporter Development/Membership Co-ordinator to be based at its offices in Horsham West Sussex, UK.

This is a new role reporting to the Marketing Director.  You will work alongside and with members of the Marketing Department to originate, develop and implement campaigns and projects with the aim of:

-  Attracting new Members to the charity and new Animal Adopters to our unique animal adoption scheme;
-  Retaining existing Members and Adopters and enhancing their value to the organisation;
-  Developing and enhancing ongoing relationships with all sectors of the supporter-base using various aspects of the marketing mix.

Previous knowledge in this area is essential along with a successful and proven track record in Membership acquisition, retention and enhancement from conception to implementation and evaluation. 

You will need to be a self-motivated team player with a hands-on approach and the ability to come up with innovative ideas and carry these through with attention to detail, end-to-end management, budgeting, IT and database skills.

 An empathy with animal welfare and wildlife conservation is desirable.
