Description

The Supply Reduction Officer will implement the projects related to IWT under the guidance of the Line Manager. This position is especially focused on market monitoring, data input and analysis, research report writing, and intelligence sharing with law enforcement agencies. The role also supports Line Manager to develop SR proposals, prepare technical reports, and exchange information related to wildlife trade.


SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Implement the IWT projects in China under the guidance of Line Manager.
• Conduct regular and systematic physical and online market survey based on the requirements of TRAFFIC projects.
• Input IWT data in TRAFFIC’s database.
• Analyze and disseminate data to relevant enforcement agencies, and monitor enforcement impacts.
• Write IWT trade reports based on the data analysis.
• Work with Chinese members of the Coalition to End Wildlife Trafficking Online to deal with IWT information and dealers.
• Assist in the development of SR proposals and technical report.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and other colleagues in documentation of project’s achievements.
• Support Communication officer in drafting press release.
• Other responsibilities required by Line Manager.
