Introduction

MSC operates a global fisheries certification and ecolabelling programme. We celebrate, promote and add value to sustainable fisheries and through the leadership of our partners, create market incentives to encourage other fisheries to improve the way they fish the oceans. Over 300 fisheries around the world, landing 12% of the annual global harvest, are now engaged at some stage of the MSC’s independent assessment process. MSC certified and labelled seafood products are now available in over 100 countries.

Your role will include overall programme support to monitor global certified supply chains, analyse trends, and assess impacts of MSC policy changes. You will also be supporting on 2-3 key strategic supply chain projects at any given time, where you would take the lead on specific research or coordination roles, as well as providing overall project support. The MSC’s current supply chain projects range from developing and implementing seafood DNA tests, to working on new licensing models for independent restaurants, and piloting electronic supply chain tracking tools. You will need to have strong communication skills, demonstrated research capabilities, and past experience managing and delivering project work. Additional skills such as  IT capabilities, supply chain experience, or foreign language skills are desirable.  You will be part of an enthusiastic and talented global team, and your work will make a strong contribution to the MSC’s overall impact and credibility.
