Description

CDP is seeking an intern to support CDP’s supply chain team from our London
office in St Katherine Docks. The successful candidate will work as part
of this dynamic and enthusiastic team with colleagues in London, New York,
Beijing, Tokyo and São Paulo. CDP’s supply chain program catalyzes disclosure
and action on climate change amongst both purchasing companies and their
suppliers.

CDP disclosure analysis;

Data and information management in the Microsoft Customer Relationship Management
(CRM) system; and

Other ad hoc research or administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will receive:

An insight into company CDP disclosures, gaining insight into current trends
and best practice in climate change management;

Experience of working in an office environment and in an international team;
and

Experience of evaluating and altering business processes to improve the
program.

The ideal candidate would have:

A good degree in a relevant discipline;

A strong interest in the environmental and sustainability agenda of the
corporate world;

Previous relevant work experience;

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

Strong attention to detail;

The ability to think innovatively;

Experience with Microsoft Office and client relationship programs, such
as CRM;

The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while aligning
work with other team members; and

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

The successful candidates will be expected to work at least 4 days a week,
with scope for expansion to a full week if desired. Candidates should be
able to start on 8rd February 2016 and be available to undertake the internship
until April. Though this can be flexible depending on your situation.

This position is unpaid, but reasonable lunch and travel expenses will be
reimbursed.

The successful candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK.
