2 Senior Account Managers – Carbon Disclosure Project The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is seeking 2 highly motivated individuals to recruit and manage corporations as part of the CDP Supply Chain programme. One individual will be based in our New York office and one in our London office.The successful candidate will have:
A clear understanding of the aims, objectives and processes of the Carbon Disclosure Project
an awareness of CDP’s Supply Chain work and how it fits with the CDP mission
knowledge of climate change issues from a business perspective
previous account management and sales experience
a positive and enthusiastic outlook
confidence to present at events and speak to corporate clients at a high level
excellent verbal and written communication skills
an ability to influence and persuade high level business people
listening skills and an openness to improve on what we deliver
attention to detail whilst being able to see the big picture
self-motivation and an ability to work effectively under pressure
ability to multi-task and take the initiative at all times whilst being a key team player
Applicants will be responsible for:
dedicated account management of existing and new corporate members
recruitment of new members through a combination of approaches such as leveraging existing CDP relationships, cold calling, networking and presenting at conferences
administrating and project managing the CDP Supply Chain process for those accounts
working closely with the wider CDP team to encourage the promotion of all CDP programmes and activities to corporate contacts
providing status reports to internal and external contacts
organising roundtables, forums, research projects and other events that add value to the CDP Supply Chain process
