As Student Assistant in the fields of Plastic and Urban Governance, you will support our team in research work, preparing reports and communication tasks within national and international projects.


Your Tasks:

  • You support our team by conducting literature research on scientific publications.
  • You offer support in writing and formatting interim and final reports, project publications and policy briefs.
  • You take responsibility for communication tasks, especially editing texts and maintaining social media accounts in the team's projects.
  • You actively participate in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of interviews, workshops and project meetings.

Our Offer:

  • We offer you a student contract with a remuneration of 12 € per hour and a working time of 16 -20 hours per week (negotiation basis). The employment contract will initially be limited to one year.
  • In our international team you will experience a pleasant working atmosphere in a flexible and family-friendly working environment with flat hierarchies.

Our Expectations:

  • You are a registered student with at least one year remaining in a relevant Master's programme, e. g. political science, international relations, resource management, environmental management, landscape planning, geo-ecology, environmental technology or similiar.
  • You are interested in inter- and transdisciplinary scientific work.
  • Ideally, you have first-hand experience in empirical-social science research with both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • You convince us with your enthusiasm for teamwork, and you possess very good command of German and English, both spoken and written.
  • You are reliable and have a strong organizational talent in addition to a high degree of initiative and creativity.
  • A strong interest in dealing with new media and their use for scientific communication is desirable.
