Structural Engineer-Existing Facilities

 

GaiaTech Incorporated (www.gaiatech.com) is a growing multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental consulting firm that serves building owner and transaction-oriented clients. We are seeking an experienced structural engineer to be part of our national Facilities group in Atlanta, Chicago or Dallas. Primary responsibilities will include working as part of a team and independently in the evaluation of the condition of commercial and industrial buildings in various locations in the US. Additional responsibilities will include distress evaluations, remedial design, estimating and project oversight.

 

Minimum BS in Engineering required. Masters degree and/or professional registration beneficial. A minimum of 4 years performing Property Condition Assessments or closely related services on commercial and/or industrial buildings required. Must be detail – orientated, be able to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously, and have good oral and written communication skills. Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and databases is required.
