Description

Are you experienced in engaging young people in conservation tasks? Can you help people discover and understand the special qualities of the Peak District National Park?

We are looking to recruit to a seasonal post to support delivery of a partnership between youth work charity Endeavour and the Peak District National Park (PDNP) that will give extremely marginalized young people who are newly arrived or disaffected from deprived communities in Sheffield the opportunity to connect with the heritage of a local natural and cultural space.

This position will be focused on developing conservation and heritage skills of the young people delivered in the Peak District National Park such as practical conservation skills, ID skills etc.

The seasonal position will be available starting in February 2018.  The post is for 240 hours, equivalent to 20 days (based on a 6hr delivery day), there is a possibility of this being extended. A degree of flexibility in line with the project plan and group bookings will be needed.
