The purpose of this role is to develop and lead the execution of EMEA’s strategy in the Renewables market by providing in-depth market knowledge and understanding, and by engaging with the most senior customer relationships in the market. (NB The current EMEA strategy is focused mainly on the Wind and Marine Energy sectors). To do this you will need a deep understanding of the Renewable Energy market, its drivers and customer needs built up over several years of operating in it. Also an interest in and/or appreciation of the role that technology can play in the Renewables market and the ability to think and act strategically. You must be customer focused and able to develop and maintain senior customer relationships. The challenge is to pull together capabilities, expertise and people from across this business to present a coherent offering to its renewable energy customers, influencing and persuading people over whom you have has no direct management authority and overcoming resistance and barriers to change.
