Borrego Solar Systems, Inc, a growing, solar energy design, engineering and installation company, seeks a veteran Sales Professional. We are seeking a highly articulate, motivated, well organized closer to exceed sales quotas with integrity.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Must be able to powerfully present to executive board level professionals
  • Comprehensive experience selling within the B2B market
  • Proven track record closing multimillion dollar contracts.
  • Experience performing financial calculations (ROI, IRR, NPV, APR, etc...)
  • Experience in technical sales
  • Strong math and computer skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of general construction
  • Understanding of electricity and electrical contracting
  • Desire to stay on the leading edge of the RE industry
  • Ability to read, understand, and edit electrical and structural plans
  • World class communication and customer service skills and experience
  • Four year college degree

Position Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Sales of commercial solar electric systems
  • Closing deals and signing contracts
  • Prospecting for and qualifying leads
  • Conducting site evaluations for potential clients, Rough system design
  • Estimating cost and pricing systems
  • Analysis of customers’ current and projected electrical usage, and financial return on investment
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Communicating with project manager regarding system design
  • Logging all communications with customers in contact database Click here to apply
