This position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and is responsible for FP &A and market analysis for Suntech's global sales and marketing efforts.  The Strategy Analyst will analyze and report on existing Suntech sales, emerging market opportunities, track competitive activity, and develop strategies and business plans for identified opportunities. 

 Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze and report on existing Suntech sales by product type, customer type, and market segment using internal data as well as 3rd party reports.
  • Identify new markets by analyzing incentive structures, development opportunities and electricity markets;
  • Develop and publish a quarterly competitive activity summary.
  • Track monthly and quarterly sales and operating expenses by Region.
  • Design forward pricing models, incentive structures, supply-demand predictive models, and other global management tools.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in economics or mathematics.
  • MBA preferred, but not required.
  • 5 years of experience performing analytical functions in support of a business unit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding Excel spreadsheet and Powerpoint skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin written and verbal preferred but not required.
