World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a Sr. Administrative Assistant to support its Science program. The incumbent will perform a variety of administrative duties to directly support senior level Science staff and provide general support to the department. Administrative duties include but are not limited to coding/processing expenses, working on contracts/agreements, calendar scheduling, making travel arrangements, and scheduling meetings.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Five years of demonstrated and progressively responsible experience in an administrative assistant or secretarial position is needed. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 3 years of experience. Strong level of proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required. Knowledge of Access and web based skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with minimal supervision and display a sense of maturity. Strong oral and written communications skills are necessary and solid prioritization and problem solving skills is required. To be successful this person must be detailed-oriented, flexible, and be able to multi-task.
