Squirrel Research Project

This project is looking for a long-term volunteer to help undertake a research project on Cape ground squirrels in the Kalahari Desert, South Africa. Must have an interest in field work and previous experience working in challenging environments and with wild animals. A wonderful opportunity to spend time in the Kalahari Desert and have close encounters with meerkats while gaining valuable work experience.

The volunteer receives free accommodation and is paid a monthly allowance to cover food costs. In-country transportation costs are covered and a local pick-up is provided.
