Natural Resources Defense Council Development Intern San Francisco Office The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is a non-profit global environmental organization with more than 1.2 million members and online activists. We have offices in New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Montana, and Beijing, China. Our staff of over 350 includes lawyers, scientists, economists, policy analysts and environmental experts work to protect the environment and public health through advocacy and education. Position Summary: NRDC is seeking an intern to manage a 2-3 month project in NRDC’s San Francisco office. The project will consist primarily of donor research and compiling a database of Bay Area major donors. The intern will be expected to work independently, but will be reporting directly to NRDC’s Northern California Development Director on this project. The position will be based in NRDC’s San Francisco office, although there is also the possibility to conduct work remotely. Learning Objective: The selected intern will gain valuable research experience, and insight into the field of non-profit development and fundraising. Required Skills
