Description

The post holder will act as the public face of the Scottish Wildlife Trust based at the Scottish Dolphin Centre and Spey Bay Wildlife Reserve.

They will supervise and co-ordinate a team of volunteers to undertake practical conservation works and species monitoring.  In addition, they will liaise with the local community and stakeholders and encourage participation and retain communication links.

The successful candidate will also be expected to undertake environmental activities for school groups and members of the public

The successful applicant should have a background in conservation and hold a HND in a relevant subject or the equivalent.  They will also be familiar in training techniques, be an excellent communicator and have knowledge of the local area.  A first aid certificate and driving licence would be advantageous.
